School counselors are a resource, in the school, as a support to the students, teachers and parents to help students reach their highest level of academic and personal success. A school counselor focuses on personal, social and academic areas, as well as the lifelong skill of career awareness and development. This is done through classroom lessons, small group sessions or individual counseling and through consultation with parents and teachers.

www.mhaleb.org The Mental Health Association of Lebanon County offers a variety of programs, trainings and educational topics (on mental health, prevention and wellness, and mental illness) available to our community. A comprehensive list of support groups for adults and children are provided. A few of the support groups offered include topics such as ADHD, autism spectrum,divorce, grief, gifted children as well as many other physical and mental heatlth topics.

The website offers activities, toolkits and information about self-esteem. Although primarily geared toward girls, self-esteem is a topic for boys as well.
